The Council stressed that the holding of the Seventh International Conference in Palestine constitutes a major scientific statistical event in which a group of academics and researchers from various Arab countries will present their research findings and studies on many pressing and interesting topics. The Council approved the contribution of funding for the budget of the Second Agricultural Census 2020, which will be implemented in cooperation between the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Agriculture and the formation of a special tender committee for this census from representatives of the relevant authorities in order to follow up and provide the basic and necessary requirements for agricultural census according to procedures The objective of which is to establish a detailed, accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date database of agricultural holdings, which is a key factor in the development of strategies and policy development for the improvement and development of the agricultural sector, N living conditions and maintaining food security for the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
