A campaign launched to demand the White House, Congress and the US State Department to investigate the execution of journalist Sherine Abu Akleh

A huge campaign has been launched in the United States of America to collect signatures and send messages through American citizens, peace activists and community members to US President Joe Biden and Congress (the House and Senate) and the US State Department calling for them to achieve justice for Palestinian journalist Sherine Abu Akleh, who She was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces, while covering the storming of Jenin, last Wednesday.

There were widespread calls for the urgent need to send e-mails (the most important means of protest in the United States) to members of Congress, the State Department, and the White House, to stop the grave Israeli violations against journalists and human rights committed against the Palestinians.

The letter called on Congress to persuade the US State Department to open an urgent investigation, to seek to prosecute those responsible for the assassination of Abu Aqila, who holds US citizenship, and to call on the United Nations Human Rights Office to conduct an "independent and transparent investigation."
