5 deaths and 5380 new cases of “Corona”

The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Friday, the registration of 5 deaths, 5380 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 888 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours.
In the epidemiological report on the “Corona” virus in Palestine, Al-Kaila indicated that 3 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, one in Tulkarm, and one in Hebron, as a result of infection with the virus.
She indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Jerusalem suburbs 139, Bethlehem 99, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 153, Tulkarm 259, Nablus 516, Hebron 118, Salfit 73, Qalqilya 68, Jenin 225, Tubas 67, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 102, Gaza Strip 803, Jerusalem 2758.
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Jerusalem suburbs 62, Bethlehem 132, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 224, Tulkarm 18, Nablus 85, Hebron 124, Salfit 12, Qalqilya 8, Jenin 47, Tubas 31, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 25, Gaza Strip 120.
She pointed out that there are 63 patients in intensive care rooms, while 118 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including 18 patients on artificial respirators.
The Minister of Health indicated that the recovery rate from the “Corona” virus in Palestine reached 92.5%, while the percentage of active infections was 6.5%, and the death rate was 1% of the total infections.
