Settlers attacked and vandalized agricultural lands yesterday in the town of Kafr Ad-Dik, west of Salfit.
The mayor of Kafr Ad-Dik, Muhammad Naji, said that settlers from the “Badawil” settlement, which was built on the town’s lands, attacked the land of Atallah Ali Ahmed, whose area is estimated at about 60 dunums, in the Deirya area, west of the town.
He explained that the settlers cut the fence surrounding the land, blocked the roads leading to it with stones, and put a written warning and threat to frighten the farmers.
He pointed out that this attack was not the first for settlers in the area, as they uprooted 25 olive trees, their ages ranged between 5 and 7 years, a few days ago.
He stressed that this attack is part of a series of continuous settlement attacks aimed at forcing citizens to leave their lands.
It is noteworthy that the Derya area is under attack
