“The Wall and Settlements” extract a judicial decision proving the ownership of land for its owners in Qalqilya

Through its lawyer, Alaa Mahajna, the Commission for Resistance of the Wall and Settlement thwarted a settlement company’s attempt to seize 250 dunams, and extracted a decision from the Israeli occupation court confirming its ownership of the family of Ali Muhammad Nofal, from Jayyous, east of Qalqilya.

Lawyer Alaa Mahajna told Wafa that Nofal managed to establish his ownership of his land that a settlement company tried to seize in 2014, and it is located behind the annexation and expansion wall near the settlement of “Tzofim” built on the town’s lands, after the company tried to steal the land by claiming its ownership. Through forged papers.

He added, “We were able to prove the ownership of 250 dunams of the Nofal family, which are six plots, and the pond numbers are “630,632, 636, 809, 810,830.”

For his part, the Director General of the Legal Unit at the authority, Ayed Murar, confirmed that more than 90% of the deals that Israeli companies try to register under the pretext of purchasing are proven to be fraudulent, calling on citizens to object to any deal they are aware of, and to go to the authority to carry out legal follow-up.
