Injuries and burning of trees in an attack by settlers in Burin

A number of citizens were injured yesterday, Saturday, during an attack by settlers in the town of Burin, south of Nablus.

Local sources reported that dozens of masked settlers attacked the house of Ibrahim Adel Eid, and threw stones at citizens in the eastern region of Burin, close to “Bracha” settlement.

The citizens confronted the settlers, and confrontations erupted between them, during which four civilians were injured and bruised.

And the occupation forces arrived to secure protection for the settlers, amid firing metal bullets and tear gas canisters, as a result of which eight civilians suffocated.

The settlers also set fire to olive trees, and the occupation forces impeded the arrival of civil defense teams to put out the fires that destroyed dozens of trees.
