After re-arresting 4 prisoners who took their freedom from Gilboa, calls for a comprehensive strike in the country

Calls were launched today, Saturday, for a nationwide strike, in anger over the re-arrest of the freed prisoners Zakaria al-Zubaidi, Muhammad Qasim al-Ardah, Mahmoud al-Ardah and Yaqoub Qadri.

The Araba El Khair youth group called for the commercial strike, and said in a statement issued by it, “out of anger at the occupation and its agents, and out of love for our heroic families and icons of freedom, and against the re-arrest of our heroes and in defiance of the occupation, we invite you to strike and close shops.”

The statement added, "In continuation of the freedom uprising that was launched by the prisoner Mahmoud Al-Ardah and his other companions, we call on the masses of our people to participate in mass rallies heading to the homes of the detainees in Arraba, Jenin camp and Bir Al-Basha."
For his part, the leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, Sheikh Khader Adnan, called for a comprehensive Palestinian national strike in the West Bank, Gaza, Jerusalem and the interior in anger against the occupation and in support of Al-Aqsa.

He said, "The flag will not fall, our resolve will not bow, and the occupier will not break our prisoners."

And the occupation re-arrested, in separate hours last night and at dawn today, 4 prisoners, who were able to strip their freedom and escape from “Gilboa” prison on the sixth of last September, accompanied by two other prisoners who are still free.

And the re-arrested prisoners: Zakaria Al-Zubaidi, Mahmoud Al-Ardah, Muhammad Al-Ardah, and Yaqoub Qadri.
