Turkish army pushes new reinforcements to Syria border

The Turkish army on Monday pushed for new military reinforcements into the southern state of "Calais " and "The South", paving the way for it to be sent to its units deployed inside Syrian territory.

The Turkish Anatolia news agency, quoting Turkish security sources, said a convoy of 15 trucks carrying armoured personnel carriers arrived in Calais amid tight security measures.

He added that the column was on its way to the "Onju by Nar" Crossing opposite to the "Bab al-Salama" crossing on the Syrian side, and to the Turkish units deployed in Syria.

The army also sent a column of 10 trucks carrying armoured personnel carriers and logistic support to the Hatay, in preparation for its move to Calais and from it to inside Syria.
