Israeli incursion and demolition of buildings in Marjeyoun district, southern Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces, at dawn on Thursday, February 12, 2026, invaded two border villages on the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine and blew up 3 buildings, amid attacks by firing on two other towns.

Al-Mayadeen TV reported that an Israeli force had entered the center of the town of Kfarkela, in the Marjeyoun district of the Nabatieh Governorate, and blown up one of the buildings.

Israeli forces also advanced and blew up two houses on the outskirts of the town of Adaysah, in the direction of Wadi Hounin, in Marjeyoun as well.

In this context, the channel reported that Israeli helicopters dropped two bombs on two excavators in the town of Aita al-Shaab, in the Bint Jbeil district, in the Nabatieh Governorate.

The Israeli occupation also fired bursts of gunfire towards the outskirts of the town of Alma al-Shaab, in the Tyre district, in the South Governorate.

These Israeli attacks on Lebanon, concentrated in its south, come within the framework of the daily violations of the “cessation of hostilities” declaration, which came into effect on November 27, 2004, and UN Security Council Resolution 1701, issued in August 2006, which has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of Lebanese citizens over the course of about a year and three months.
