Palestine has won three awards in the field of information technology, including one in the gap hunters competition and two in the Sheikh Salem Al Ali Al Sabah Award.
He won the best Centers award in the regional competition for security gap hunters at the level of the Arab Region for the year 2018 in the first place in the category of respondents to security incidents racer Barakat Abdel Rahim refill from the city of Nablus. It is an Arab regional competition organized by the Arab Regional Centre for Cyber Security of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in cooperation with the company Silensec, and organized locally at the State of Palestine in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information technology.
Two Palestinian projects also won the Sheikh Salem Al Ali Al Sabah Award, among the top ten Arab technical projects that won the award. The winning projects are the educational environment of rawafed, a Web site that is an integrated platform for the Palestinian curriculum that serves both school students and teachers in Palestine, and the other winner is the application of Effendi, which represents an electronic broker that connects the applicants and the providers of these services with different and types of categories.
For his part, the Minister of Communications and Information technology, the winners of this brilliant victory and wished them more successes, and after saying that this win is a pride and proud of the state of Palestine in general and the owners of the winning projects in particular, and live testimony on the high abilities and strong determination of Palestinian youth Qualifies him to achieve creativity and excellence in all forums and fields.
"This victory should lead us to make more efforts in supporting and encouraging creativity and creators, and to ensure that the Palestinian presence and competition are registered in all fields and at all levels, to put Palestine in the ranks of science and technology in the world," he said.
