Statistics issued by the General Administration of Civil Status at the Ministry of Interior - the civil section, showed that the Gaza Strip witnessed during last October, the birth of 3560 children and the death of 209 cases.
The statistic showed that the number of males among births reached 1773, or 49.8%, while the percentage of females reached 50.2%, or 1787 births.
In North Gaza governorate, 646 births were registered, and in Gaza governorate 1298 births, while the Al Wusta Governorate Interior Directorate registered 499 births, Khan Yunis District had 671 births, and Rafah District 446 births.
Regarding the number of deaths, the Civil Status stated that its offices in the governorates of the Gaza Strip recorded 209 deaths during last October, including 132 males, 63%, and 77 females, 37%.
