Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded three deaths, 734 new cases of the emerging "Corona" virus, and 526 recoveries during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus in Palestine, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailia explained that 3 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (a 90-year-old citizen from Asira al-Shamaliyah in Nablus, a 79- year-old citizen from Doha, Bethlehem Governorate, a 92-year-old citizen from Tulkarm).
She added that the new injuries were distributed as follows:
Hebron Governorate (54).
Nablus governorate (132).
Bethlehem Governorate (50).
Qalqilya Governorate (7).
Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (41).
Jenin (42).
Jericho and Al Aghwar (9).
Salfit (5).
Tulkarm (36).
Tubas (5).
Gaza Strip (281).
Suburbs of Jerusalem (20), the city of Jerusalem (52).
With regard to recovery cases, 350 cases were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 133, Jenin 46, Nablus 101, Tulkarm 43, Qalqilya 7, Salfit 14, Tubas 6), in addition to 130 recoveries in the Gaza Strip, and 46 cases in Jerusalem.
She pointed out that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine amounted to 87.87%, while the rate of active infections reached 11.28%, and the death rate was 0.85% of all infections.
On the health conditions of the injured, Al-Kailah confirmed that 36 patients are receiving treatment in the intensive care rooms, including 8 patients connected to artificial respirators.
