A senior source in the cabinet of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday that the latter wanted to complete legislative measures on the conscription law during the current Knesset session in an effort not to dismantle the government.
"There is no excuse for excuses and justifications to go to elections, but the prime Minister wants to enact the conscription law," the public broadcaster quoted the source as saying.
According to the source, Netanyahu told his coalition partners that they had to decide whether to continue together.
