Today, Wednesday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced that 16 deaths, 714 new injuries and 1952 recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
She added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 91.0%, while the rate of active infections reached 7.9%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: Tulkarm 41, Nablus 153, Salfit 17, Tubas 14, Jenin 57, Qalqilya 8, Bethlehem 26, Jerusalem suburbs 4, Hebron 30, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 55, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 3 305, Gaza Strip.
Al-Keela added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tulkarm 115, Nablus 74, Salfit 16, Tubas 33, Jenin 70, Qalqilya 66, Bethlehem 14, Jerusalem suburbs 80, Hebron 77, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 60, Jericho and Al Aghwar 12. Gaza Strip 1335.
Seven deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Tulkarm 1, Nablus 3, Jenin 2, and Hebron 1”, and 9 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, according to the Minister of Health.
She pointed out that there are 151 patients in intensive care rooms, including 44 patients on artificial respirators, while 415 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
Al-Keela stated that the total number of citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccinations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 170,109, including 34,880 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
