Yediot: Israel is ready to encourage and facilitate the travel of Gazans abroad

Israel is considering facilitating travel by Gazans to foreign countries, the Hebrew daily Yediot Aharonot reported Monday.

The Israeli daily Yediot Aharonot quoted a political source as saying that Israel is ready to encourage the Palestinian population to leave the Gaza Strip, but is ready to arrange their departure, open an Airport in the Negev and arrange their travel abroad if there are states to accommodate them.

The Israeli political source added that this issue has been raised on the planet several times and has been discussed with several Arab countries, but has not received approval to date.
