National Security Advisor John Bolton visited the Silwan neighbourhood in occupied Jerusalem last Tuesday, said the site of the daily Yediot Aharonot.
According to the Hebrew website, US ambassador to Israel David Friedman and other U.S. officials accompanied Bolton on his visit to the neighbourhood and the area controlled by the Al-Adad Settlement Association, inside the neighborhood, along with Meir bin Shabat, president of the Israeli National Security Council.
The visit took place just a few hours before US President Donald Trump´s remarks about the price Israel would pay during negotiations with the Palestinians in exchange for the embassy´s relocation to Jerusalem, the site said.
It was reported that a dinner was held for the delegation in the neighbourhood near the southern wall of Al-Aqsa mosque directly at the al-Adad-controlled area.
