The UN Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wencesland, arrived on Tuesday morning in the Gaza Strip, through the Erez checkpoint.
During his visit, which will last for several hours, Wencesland will meet with officials from Palestinian and international institutions working in the Gaza Strip, to get acquainted with the latest developments in the humanitarian and life conditions of the residents.
It is not known whether Wenceland will meet with the leadership of the Hamas movement or not, as he was several times in the Gaza Strip, met with the leadership of the movement secretly, and other times in public.
