"Foreign Affairs and Expatriates" condemns the provocative incursions of Al-Aqsa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned, in the strongest terms, the provocative incursions that settlers practice on a daily basis into the Old City of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards.

The ministry also condemned, in a statement, the calls of the settlement groups and the so-called organizations of the alleged temple to expand the scope of participation in those incursions, especially on the occasion of the Jewish Throne Day, and their calls to perform Talmudic rituals in the mosque´s courtyards and to carry out a collective reading of parts of the Torah, in an illegal daily perversion of the blessed Al-Aqsa in an attempt Continuous Israeli planning to impose control over it and perpetuate its temporal division on the way to dividing it spatially if not completely destroying it and building the alleged temple in its place, as well as in the usual official Israeli employment of religious occasions and holidays to achieve more expansionist colonial ambitions. As stated in the text of her statement.

The ministry stressed that what the Christian and Islamic sanctities are exposed to, especially the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, is an integral part of the open occupation war on Jerusalem, its identity and its historical civilizational reality and the Palestinian presence in it, including the implementation of more expansionist colonial projects aimed at changing the historical, legal and demographic situation. The existing reality of a new Judaization serves the narratives of the occupation and its colonial interests, all amid misleading official Israeli campaigns claiming the Israeli government´s keenness on the status quo in Jerusalem and its sanctities.

The ministry held the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for these incursions and for the violations of Jerusalem that amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity. Positions that force the occupying power to stop them, or impose deterrent measures on it to ensure the preservation of the "statesco" in Jerusalem.

She said: The desecration of Jerusalem and its sanctities and the entire occupied Palestinian land and its unilateral disposal by the occupying force does not only fall within the framework of the official Israeli coup against the signed agreements and its denial of the political rights of the Palestinian people, but also reflects the extent of the hostility of successive Israeli governments to peace and the depth of the absence of the Israeli peace partner in The policy and plans of the occupying state towards the Palestinian cause.
