Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced the registration of two deaths, 108 new infections with the Corona virus, and 114 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
She added that the new infections were recorded as follows: Jenin (7), Jericho and the Jordan Valley (1), Hebron (4), and the Gaza Strip (96), noting that 2,828 examinations were conducted.
Al-Kaila confirmed that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Jericho and the Jordan Valley (1), Nablus (8), the Gaza Strip (105), indicating that the recovery rate from the virus in Palestine was 98.3%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.6%, and the death rate was 1.1 % of all injuries.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 6 injured in intensive care rooms, while 11 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
As for the citizens who received antiviral vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 527,888, of whom 379,591 received both doses of the vaccine.
