Al-Kila: 29 new cases of the “delta” mutation in 6 governorates in the West Bank

Health Minister Mai Al-Kila announced the registration of 29 new cases of the “delta variant” mutation of the Corona virus, after conducting the mutation examination for a group of positive samples collected from various governorates of the West Bank, which raises the total number of discovered infections to 49 injuries.

Minister Al-Kaila added, in a statement, today, Tuesday, that the detected injuries were distributed in the governorates of: Hebron, Nablus, Tulkarm, Jenin, Salfit, and Jericho.

She called on citizens to quickly register on the electronic platform to book appointments for receiving the “Corona” vaccine, adding that, according to the World Health Organization, the majority of vaccines currently used reduce infection with the virus, and if it does not prevent infection, it at least prevents the emergence of dangerous symptoms.

The “delta variant” mutation is considered the most transmissible among the variants of the Corona virus that have been identified so far, and it spreads very quickly among people, especially those who have not received vaccination, in addition to the fact that the development of the disease in people with it is faster than other mutations
