US President Donald Trump denied a report in the Washington Post on his refusal to brief senior US administration officials on details of his talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
In an interview with Fox News on Saturday night, Trump denied the report, which he described as "ridiculous", that he sought to largely conceal what was discussed during his talks with Putin, and issued the remarks without it The translator, and ordered the latter not to disclose what was put forward during the meeting.
Trump announced that he had "wonderful talks" with Putin in Helsinki in July 2018.
Asked why he refused to give details of the two-hour talks, Trump replied, "I will."
"We have talked about protecting Israel´s security and many other things ... I am not hiding anything, I do not care at all, it is very ridiculous," he said.
"Anyone could listen to that meeting, it´s available to everyone," he said.
According to the newspaper, there is no detailed record of Trump´s talks with Putin on five occasions over the past two years.
The report is based on information the newspaper says it has obtained from current and former administration officials.
Trump said in an interview with Fox News that there was no "collusion" between his campaign team in 2016 and Russia. Trump was better than Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, and that the US economy was "the strongest in the world" Post is "basically a compression group for Amazon Inc.".

The US president also attacked a report by the New York Times that the FBI opened an undisclosed investigation in 2017 to determine whether Trump was a threat to national security, while investigating the possibility of hindering justice.
FBI investigations were later integrated into the expanded investigation led by Special Inspector Robert Mueller about Russia´s intervention in the 2016 election and the possible complicity of Trump´s campaign.
Asked in an interview with the American network whether he had previously worked for Russia, Trump did not directly answer the question, saying only "I think it´s the most insulting question to me."
The president described the New York Times as "the most insulting report written about me, and if you read it you will see that they have not discovered anything at all."
He has not publicly disclosed any evidence that Trump was secretly communicating with or receiving instructions from Russian officials, according to The New York Times.
The FBI suspected links between Trump and Russia during the 2016 campaign, but the office did not open an investigation until the president dismissed FBI director James Komi, who refused to halt the investigation into Russia´s election intervention.
Muller has been charged with 33 people, including three former Trump assistants.
Former US national security adviser Michael Flynn acknowledged that he made false statements during investigations into his relations with Moscow.
The former Trump lawyer, Michael Cohen, was sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted of several crimes, including paying for the silence of two women who claimed Trump had a relationship with them.
The former head of the Trump campaign, Paul Manavort, was convicted in a charge by Muller while pleading guilty to another case involving financial crimes linked to his work in Ukraine before the 2016 campaign as well as the manipulation of witnesses.
