Two US soldiers among 10 killed by a bomb explosion in northern Lebanon

- The initial toll of the victims of the Manbaj bombing, which took place Wednesday, was at the Palace of Princes restaurant in the center of Manbaj, killing 10 people, the Hawar News Agency reported.

The victims were taken from the area using a US helicopter, and their fate was not known, the agency said.

It said two US soldiers were killed among four soldiers wounded in the blast.

Earlier, sources said that an explosion occurred in the Syrian city of Manbeg during the passage of a US military patrol.

The blast occurred near a market in Manbaj when local junta leaders and an unidentified delegation were at the Palace of the Princes, the local news agency Sputnik reported.

The military council in Manbaj confirmed that the blast occurred next to a patrol of the US-led international coalition that was roaming the city.
