Trump accused of "fraud" on Americans

A group of Americans on Monday raised a lawsuit accusing US president Donald Trump and three of his sons and a company with his name of seeking to seduce people to invest in deceptive business opportunities.

The four unnamed prosecutors asked the federal court in Manhattan to allow them to be a collective lawsuit so that other victims could join.

The plaintiffs accuse Trump and the "Trump Foundation" of promoting the company  "ABC" of marketing communications services, which was announcing a significant profit without these profits becoming a tangible reality, according to the claimants.

The plaintiffs invested in the "AC" after watching a propaganda video showing Trump, and paid large sums without giving any of the promised profits.

The plaintiffs described themselves as "Americans from the working class" who worked in occupations such as delivery or social welfare services, and many others were deceived by Trump.

"The Trump family has deceived each of these victims to invest in thousands of dollars, and to suffer many fatal losses that have caused a change in their lives," the complaint said.

The company  "ABC" relies on sellers who work from their homes and is a broker for direct selling services via telecommunication services such as telephone or Internet.

Even if Trump insisted that he was not promoting the company "ABC" to make money, he had received secret payments worth millions of dollars for his services between 2005 and 2015 from this company, according to the plaintiffs.

The Trump Foundation did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

"ABC" stated that Trump was a paid ambassador for her trademark from 2006 until his candidacy was announced in 2015.

The company defended its business model, saying it employs 18, 6 million people in the United States and profits to 35 billion dollars of sales annually.
