Speakers from countries and groups affirmed their condemnation and rejection of the Israeli declarations of building settlements and announcing the annexation of the Jordan Valley and the settlements.
Ambassador Ibrahim Khreisheh, Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations in Geneva, made a speech on behalf of the State of Palestine, and another word on behalf of the Arab Group, as Palestine chairs the group.
Khreisheh expressed the condolences of the State of Palestine to all the countries and families of the victims who went as a result of the pandemic of the Corona virus, wishing the speedy recovery of the injured and the safety of all humanity.
He thanked the groups and countries involved in the work of the seventh item concerned with the situation of human rights in Palestine and the rest of the other occupied Arab territories, calling on the countries that have refrained from participating in the work of this item to review their positions, because this constitutes a cover for the crimes and violations committed by the occupying power.

He pointed out that the so-called American vision of peace and prosperity which our people, its leadership, and all countries of the world rejected as a serious violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and said: "President Trump´s announcement of this vision came to open the door to the Israeli far right to form a government based on the implementation of the plan to annex settlements and the Ghor Jordan, which constitutes more than half of the area of ​​the West Bank, where Netanyahu and a number of occupation leaders stated that the annexation plan will be implemented early next month, and he reiterated that this opportunity has not occurred since 1948.
Khreisheh continued: "If this process is completed, it will eliminate the two-state solution agreed upon by the countries of the world, which will threaten international peace and security and embody the apartheid regime that we will continue to resist in all forms in accordance with the provisions of international law."
He stressed that the international community is required to assume its responsibilities and take practical deterrent steps, and not only condemn and condemn, but boycott and impose measures consistent with the peremptory norms in international law, and recognize the state of Palestine; Especially after the Palestinian leadership announced that we are in a position of all agreements and understandings with the Occupying Power and the United States; That was not respected by both parties.
The Secretary-General of the United Nations, the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the international community called for pressure on the occupying force to allow the owners of special mandates, including the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories and truth-finding committees to visit Palestine.
Khreisheh called on all those who talked about accountability, accountability and justice to work on that in Palestine.
