The Evangelical Synod of the Holy Land, today, Monday, expressed concern about the political developments in the region, especially the intention of the Israeli government to take a decision that violates international law to annex occupied Palestinian areas.
In a statement, the Synod affirmed, "The annexation step will escalate the cycle of violence and fighting, and therefore we call on international officials, especially the United States, not to support extremist tendencies, to adhere to peaceful solutions, to preserve the peaceful treaties that have been reached in the countries and peoples of the region and to seek to resolve differences."
