In March, the Israeli occupation courts imposed an effective prison sentence for a number of child prisoners held in Ofer, in addition to fines amounting to more than 37,000 shekels.
In a report released Sunday, the Palestinian Authority said that the Israeli occupation authorities entered 34 prisoners in Ofer Prison last month, 20 of them were arrested from houses, 11 were arrested, 1 was arrested at military checkpoints and 1 was not held. And 1 after being summoned.
Among these prisoners were three prisoners who had been assaulted during their arrest and interrogation, as well as a minor prisoner who had been arrested after being shot.
The authority added that the number of children sentenced in the same month was 19 minors, ranging from 31 days to 12 months, while the minor prisoner Mustafa Abu Ghosh remained in administrative detention. The number of captives currently held in Ofer is 114 children.
The Commission pointed out that the military courts of occupation are always seeking to impose more suffering on the prisoners and their families through the imposition of heavy fines in addition to years of heavy detention.
In the same section, the prisoners suffer from electronic jamming devices recently installed around their department, which emit powerful radiation that causes chronic headaches and severe headaches in the head.
Adding that the occupation authorities do not stop inventing new methods to hurt the prisoners, and make their lives bitter inside the detention centers.
