The occupation suppresses a protest in Sheikh Jarrah

Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces suppressed a peaceful protest in the “Sheikh Jarrah” neighborhood in the center of occupied Jerusalem, against the policy of forced displacement of the neighborhood’s residents.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces suppressed the participants in the vigil, by firing dozens of sound and sewage bombs at them.

Dozens of Jerusalemites participated in the vigil, who chanted slogans condemning the practices of the occupation and forced displacement, especially in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and Silwan town in the center of occupied Jerusalem.
