The occupation reduces the fishing area in Gaza to 6 miles

Nizar Ayyash, head of Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Strip, said Tuesday that the Israeli occupation authorities told them to reduce the fishing area again.

Ayash said in an interview with Al-Quds newspaper that the Israeli occupation decided to reduce the area to 6 nautical miles, under the pretext of firing incendiary balloons from Gaza toward the Gaza envelope settlements.

He pointed out that the Israeli occupation does not need any pretexts to reduce the area, pointing out that it is targeting daily fishermen and pursuing them in repeated attacks against them.

He said that the process of reducing and expanding the area of fishing has been repeated in recent days and weeks with very weak arguments.
