The Prisoners and Executives Affairs Authority said today, Wednesday, that the Occupation Court in Jerusalem decided to release the ill Jerusalemite child Abdul Rahman Al-Bashiti on the condition that he be removed from the Old City of Jerusalem and imprisoned in Shuafat.
The commission added in its statement that the court had given the prosecution until this evening to appeal the decision.
The boy, Abdul Rahman Al-Bashiti, suffers from diabetes. Since his arrest, he has suffered from high blood sugar and suffers from medical negligence and harsh interrogations in the cells.
