The Israeli occupation authorities on Wednesday morning closed the "Beit Hanoun" checkpoint in the northern Gaza Strip in part.
According to local sources, the occupation authorities decided to close the Beit Hanoun checkpoint in the north of the strip until further notice, except for the sick and foreigners, in response to the return marches.
Israeli occupation army Minister Avigdor Lieberman threatened to close the Beit Hanoun crossing until the end of the month in retaliation for the return marches in Gaza.
