The New York Museum of Modern Art opened its doors to the public today, Friday, after being closed for nearly six months due to the Corona virus pandemic.
The famous museum, which reduced the number of visitors allowed to enter to 25 percent, received many visitors on the first day of its reopening.
"With new safety protocols and procedures in place, our audiences can continue to enjoy an unparalleled experience in our galleries of art collections, and we hope they find solace and inspiration here," museum director Glenn Lowry said in a press release.
The city´s museums, which were closed in March as part of efforts to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, have been allowed to reopen since last Monday.
