According to the latest statistics of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza has so far reached more than 2,800 martyrs, the majority of whom are children and women, and 9,938 wounded. At a time when the Palestinian resistance is bombing Israeli cities and towns as part of its Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The intensification of raids on populated areas also comes at a time when there is increasing talk of an imminent Israeli ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, while the Palestinian resistance, led by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Hamas movement, as part of its response to the targeting of civilians, is bombing Israeli gatherings in central cities .
Martyrs in Rafah and Khan Yunis
At dawn on Tuesday, 78 Palestinians were martyred and hundreds were injured, including women and children, as a result of Israeli raids that targeted a number of homes in the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Rejection of a Russian proposal for a humanitarian truce
In light of the escalation of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, the UN Security Council rejected, on Monday evening, a draft resolution proposed by Russia to establish a “humanitarian” truce between Israel and the Hamas movement, and decided to meet again on Tuesday evening to vote on a second draft resolution presented by Brazil.

Local sources announced that Major General Fouad Abu Butihan, the official at the crossings, and a number of his relatives were martyred in a direct bombardment of his house in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip.
344 Israeli injured in hospitals
There are also 344 injured Israelis hospitalized, including 82 in serious condition, 194 in moderate condition, and 68 in minor condition. According to the Israeli Ministry of Health, as of 9:30 am.
The total number of injuries since the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” has reached 4,229, of which 26 were described as critical, 312 as serious, 725 as moderate, 2,817 as minor, 219 as panic cases, and 130 cases underwent medical review.
Hamas movement's comment
In the same context, Hamas said that the occupation massacres in the cities of the Gaza Strip are evidence of failure and crime that will not break the resolve of our people and their cohesion with the resistance.
The movement said in a statement, "For the eleventh day, with American support, the occupation continues its hideous massacres and genocidal war against our people in Deir al-Balah, Rafah, Khan Yunis, and throughout the Gaza Strip."
She added, "The escalation of the occupation and its perpetration of more heinous crimes and massacres that devastate humanity will remain a stain on the faces of the occupation's supporters and its supporters from the American administration and some Western countries."
Comment from the King of Jordan
In turn, King Abdullah II of Jordan said from Berlin that everyone must understand the seriousness of the situation in Gaza, and there must be a political horizon to end the cycle of violence.
During a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Schulz, the King of Jordan stressed that "receiving refugees is a red line. There are no refugees in Jordan and no refugees in Egypt."
