The Israeli public prosecutor today decides Netanyahu´s fate in corruption cases

Israel´s top attorney general and Israeli attorney general Avihai Mandelblit is due to announce his decision on corruption issues against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday.

It is estimated that Mandelblit will file three indictments against Netanyahu, including a charge of bribery in Case 4000 of the Bizek-Wala case, a hearing in File 1000, and the possibility of being charged with breach of trust in the same file of receiving money from businessmen for a facility Services to them, fraud charges and breach of trust in file 2000 related to the owner of the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

In the past few days, Netanyahu´s defense team has demanded that Mandelblit postpone publication until the end of the Israeli elections. Mandelblit rejected the allegations, explaining that the investigations began before the early elections.

Netanyahu and his team accuse the media and left-wing parties of lobbying Mandelblit with the aim of dropping him politically.
