The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the international community to bind Israel to international law and its duties as an occupying power.
And the ministry said in a statement issued by it, this evening, Saturday, "On a daily basis, the occupying power practices the worst forms of discrimination and colonial racism against Palestinian citizens, to the hearing and sight of the whole world. On this morning, terrorist settlers attacked a bus carrying a number of worshipers in the early hours of the morning Which led to the injury of a number of them after they were returning from prayer in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
She added: "Obviously, these attacks occur without the occupation authorities condemning or investigating them, and if the picture was opposite, the reaction of the occupation army and its political leadership would have been different, and we would have heard a torrent of Israeli statements and threats to the Palestinians."
And she continued: "Today, too, the occupation authorities closed the entrances to the city of Salfit, completely separating it from the West Bank, and sabotaged the water line that supplies the city, in the worst forms of collective punishment practiced by the occupation against the Palestinian people to cover up its failure.
She pointed out that the occupying power facilitates the imposition of collective punishments on defenseless Palestinian civilians due to the absence of accountability and international accountability for it, stressing that Israel must be bound by international law and its duties as an occupying power.
