The European Union provides 35 million euros to pay the salaries and pensions for the month of August

 The European Union on Monday provided a contribution of 35 million to help the Palestinian government pay August euros and pensions to its civil servants, mostly in the health and education sectors in the West Bank.


This support, according to a statement issued by the Office of the European Union Representative, will help the Palestinian government “to fulfill part of its obligations towards Palestinian civil servants, as it continues to face a very worrying financial situation as a result of the protracted economic crisis in the occupied Palestinian territory, which has been exacerbated by the situation is grave due to the ongoing tensions with Israel."
