The Journalists Syndicate rejects the results of the Israeli investigation into Abu Aqleh

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate expressed its rejection of the results of the investigation published by the Israeli occupation army today on the martyrdom of fellow journalist Shereen Abu Aqleh.

The Syndicate considered that the lack of certainty of the direct responsibility of the occupation army for the crime, and for the deliberate killing, is a miserable attempt to mislead public opinion, evade responsibility and evade accountability and punishment.

The Syndicate stressed that the report of the occupation army did not present new, and kept the door ajar in front of several possibilities, a conclusion rejected and known to us in advance, according to a permanent approach taken by the occupation authorities to protect themselves and their military power, and to avoid international punishment.

The Syndicate indicated that the file of the complaint to the International Criminal Court in the case of the martyrdom of colleague Sherine will be completed and submitted to the court soon.
