At least six people were killed in a suicide attack on a wedding party in the east of the country, an official said Friday.
A spokesman for Nangarhar province said another 15 people were injured in the suicide attack in the region "Pashirajam" in the region.
The suicide bomber targeted the wedding of the nephew of a pro-government militia leader known as Malik Tor, the spokesman said.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but Taliban and state-run militants are known to have been present in different parts of the province.
