Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh called on international human rights institutions to expose the oppressive and racist practices of the Israeli occupation against our people, and to shed light on the continuation of the occupation by holding the bodies of the martyrs and putting pressure on Israel to release them and the women prisoners. children and patients.


This came when he received, in his office in Ramallah, a delegation from the Swedish international organization "Olof Palme" to support democracy and human rights.


Shtayyeh stressed the continuation of supporting the work of human rights organizations and civil society in Palestine, in light of the Israeli attack that they are facing, as they are licensed institutions and operate under the umbrella of Palestinian law.


He stressed that the government is in a permanent dialogue with civil society institutions on all issues, in the absence of the Legislative Council as a result of Israel´s continued prevention of holding elections in all Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem.
