Settlers begin to build a new outpost east of Jerusalem

Today, Thursday, settlers started building a new settlement outpost in the Al-Sawahra area, east of occupied Jerusalem.

The people of Al-Sawahrah said that the targeted land belongs to the Abu Hussein family, and is considered the main entrance to the Al-Sawahrah wilderness, which has an area of about 70,000 dunums.

According to local sources, the owners of the targeted land were surprised that the settlers set up a "barracks" and put children's toys in an area called "Sat al-Ghazala", an area of about 250 dunums, which is close to the "Kedar" settlement established on the lands of the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem.

The sources indicated that dozens of armed settlers came to the area to establish the new outpost, with the aim of linking the settlements of "Kedar" and "Boaz", which are established on the lands of Abu Dis and Al-Sawahra.
