Settlers on Sunday attacked the tomb of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron and cut a perennial olive tree.
"The staff of the Haram heard a saw in the garden of the Haram, and then find a settler who is cutting a perennial olive tree that dates back hundreds of years," said Al-Haram al-Ibrahimi, the governor of Abu Sneineh. He noted that the settler was being stopped.
Abu Sneineh said it was an attack on the sanctity of the Ibrahimi Mosque.
