The Irish Senate on Wednesday definitively passed the law on the boycott of Israeli settlement products in the Palestinian territories.
Although passed definitively in the Senate, the law will be presented to the House of Representatives for discussion and vote, and it needs a month-long time, before it reaches the president to sign it to become effective.
According to the newspaper "Yisrael Hume ", the law, which is approved as "the control of economic activity in the occupied territories ", allows a fine to be fined anyone who trades in goods coming from the West Bank settlements, and even may also be subject to arrest.
