A spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Khalil Al-Daqran, warned of the danger of the new evictions, in which the occupying state forces citizens to leave their homes, adding: "Mawasi Khan Yunis cannot accommodate this large number, and there are no medical points or centers that deal with this large number of displaced persons."
The occupation authorities issued new evacuation orders in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, and in areas in Mawasi Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Al-Daqran added: "The scale of the evacuations is beyond imagination and reason, and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, the only one that provides services in central Gaza, can barely continue its work in light of the crowding of citizens in the area."
The hospital basically provides services to 350,000 citizens; their number has reached nearly one million after the repeated displacement process due to targeting the governorates of the Strip.
Al-Daqran explained that the Nasser Medical Complex, which operates in the southern Gaza Strip as the only hospital, cannot provide medical services to all this number of displaced persons, in light of the ongoing war of extermination.
Al-Daqran stated that the war of extermination has depleted medical supplies and capabilities, "since the destruction of the Rafah crossing and until this moment we do not have supplies and needs through which we can provide the service that our people need."
