Nasser Medical Complex: Displacement exacerbates our suffering in receiving the injured

Dr. Mohammed Saqr, Director of the Nursing Department at Nasser Medical Complex, said that the complex's administration cannot deal with the large number of injuries resulting from the ongoing horrific targeting and massacres against our people, especially in the southern Gaza Strip.

Saqr explained that the new waves of displacement exacerbate the health and humanitarian crisis in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, especially in light of its exposure to targeting, and in light of the massacres that are successively reaching the complex.

Saqr stated that the targeting cases caused many injuries among the displaced who were at long distances from the targeting sites, which means that the military operations will lead to certain injuries among the displaced in the tents in those areas.

He reiterated his confirmation of the existence of complex injuries resulting from burns and fractures, and "the missiles used are lethal and internationally prohibited, and major injuries are expected."

Saqr explained that the intensification of displacement south of the Mawasi area will leave a heavy impact on the complex in dealing with primary care cases, especially in light of the spread of diseases and epidemics, and the inability to deal with this large number, as a result of the daily reception of dozens of injuries among citizens, due to the continuation of this war.
