The United Nations envoy to the Middle East peace process, Nikolai Mladenov, said on Monday that he was working intensely with Egypt to avoid and prevent any escalation in the Gaza Strip.
In a tweet on Twitter, Miladinov said the rocket launch from Gaza was dangerous and unacceptable.
He pointed out that he is working with Egypt and all parties to avoid any escalation, but the situation is still very tense.
