The Israeli army announced on Monday the transfer of areas in the Gaza envelope to closed military positions.
According to Channel 13 Hebrew, the areas turned into closed military, Zikim Beach, Kibbutz Nahal Oz, and Kibbutz Netivot Haastra.
She noted that the army sent more military reinforcements to the Gaza envelope in anticipation of a possible escalation in the coming hours.
