French President Emmanuel Makin on Monday announced a new economic policy that includes an increase in the minimum wage.
The retirement tax would be cancelled and the minimum wage would be raised to 100 euros per month at the beginning of the year, Makin said.
He said he bears part of the situation, although the roots of the current crisis are old and 40 years ago.
Addressing the French, he said: My battle is for you and all of us are for France.
