A delegation of Israeli occupation army officers is to visit Russia on Tuesday to discuss the "North Shield" operation on the border with Lebanon.
The Israeli army said the head of the operations department, Major General Aharon Halelin, will head the delegation, the Jerusalem Post reported on its website on Monday evening.
During the delegation´s one-day visit, members of the delegation will meet with their Russian counterparts to present updates on Operation North Shield and other operational issues.
The delegation´s visit to Russia follows a telephone conversation on Saturday between Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During the phone call, Netanyahu reviewed operation North Shield with Putin.
