Jerusalem Council of Churches condemns attacks by Sri Lanka

The Council of Patriarchs and Heads of Churches of Jerusalem strongly condemned the heinous terrorist attacks on three churches (St. Anthony´s Tomb in Kuchiki, St. Sebastian´s Church in Negombo and Zion Church in Batticaloa) and three hotels in Sri Lanka, with more than 300 The same innocent was performing her prayers and hundreds were injured as a result of eight bloody explosions on the morning of Easter.

The Council of Patriarchs and Presidents of the Churches of Jerusalem also met with the French people and its President, Amanioule Macaron, against the backdrop of the burning of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, where they described the cathedral as a holy place, a masterpiece and a highly symbolic human civilization painting.

"As we pray with the French people at this painful moment, we are all hopeful and confident in the ability of the French people and their good relations around the world to rebuild the cathedral to become a symbol of the French people´s ability to transform this disaster into a global achievement.
