"Japan´s Geological Survey" said a 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted an area off Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, on Wednesday.
The earthquake occurred around 7:37 pm local time, and its epicenter was located at a depth of 80 km at latitude 37.3 degrees north latitude and 141.4 degrees east longitude.
In some parts of Fukushima Prefecture, the earthquake recorded the fourth level, with a seismic intensity scale of seven levels.
So far, no tsunami warning has been issued.
