Israeli occupation Ministers Transfer media conference to "electoral bazaar" by threatening Gaza

Israeli cabinet ministers on Wednesday took advantage of a media conference held in Jerusalem for election purposes, through threats to Gaza and assassinations, and to international organizations supporting the Palestinian cause at some point.

The annual conference of the Israeli English-language newspaper Jerusalem Post has been transformed into an "electoral bazaar" of ministers under the political conditions that Israel has been witnessing in recent days.

The Israeli Minister of Construction and housing, Yav Galant, threatened to assassinate Yahya al-Sanwar, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

"The time of the Sanwar is narrowing and becoming more limited," said Galant, a minister in the Cabenet and former commander of the southern region.

"The Sanwar will not end his old age as seniors in his home, and he has to take a new course to fight us," he said.

Galant stressed that Israel is planning a new military operation in Gaza, but will be determined at a suitable time and circumstances. Praising the large army force in front of the Hamas force, he said: "It´s 1000 times bigger."

The Israeli minister claimed that there was no Palestinian partner for peace and accepted the negotiations. "100 years ago we did not find a Palestinian leader who could negotiate with Israel, the Palestinians did not agree on any plan, and they do not accept the reality of Israel´s existence," he said.

"We cannot give one to the Palestinians from the West Bank, there is no place for two armies, there is no choice but to keep the full military control of our army," Galant said.

The Israeli Minister of Internal Security, Gilad Ardan, noted that the invasion of the Gaza Strip was imminent, while the Israeli minister launched a severe attack on the international boycott Movement (BDS) because of its activities against Israel.

"We are closer than ever to invade the Gaza Strip and restore it if it guarantees the safety of our citizens, and that is what we will do then," Ardan said.

Meanwhile, during the annual conference of the Israeli English-language newspaper Jerusalem Post, Ardan claimed that international organizations such as Human Rights Watch are trying to intimidate global companies to operate in and boycott Israel. He pointed out that the decision of the company Air B. B (AIRBNB) to stop the advertisements of apartments in the settlements, was part of these attempts by those organizations.

The Israeli minister noted that the company´s decision was shocking and hypocritical. He is studying with other ministries to make firm decisions against the company after its last decision.

Ardan blamed the UN Human Rights Council resolution, which prepared a blacklist of companies operating in Israeli settlements. He called on the countries of the world to stop funding the Council and support its decisions if the list is published.

"Today Israel needs to move from defense to attack," Ardan said. He pointed to the steps taken by various world countries to confront the international boycott movement by issuing laws to prevent their financing or any activities.

"He will ask U.S. officials to take advantage of laws against the international boycott movement to punish the company (AIRBNB)," he said.

Galant was not satisfied with the attack on Gaza, attacking the Minister of Transport and intelligence  "Yisrael Katz " The Gaza Strip, and said: "We are close to a war of no choice in the Gaza Strip."

"We must vigorously strike Hamas to eliminate terrorism and restore deterrence, there is no chance of a stable settlement and a political solution in Gaza."

"The countries of Europe cannot go beyond the sanctions imposed on Iran," the Israeli minister said, referring to Iran´s nuclear dossier. Calling on the United States for more punitive measures against it.

"The ceasefire in Gaza will remain steadfast for months and then break, and then we will be in front of a new round," Justice Minister Elite Shamsure said.

Shamsure called for strong blows to Hamas. The head of the occupation government, Yenamine Netanyahu, also called on the Army to change its security approach.
